The future of Ceros: Game-changing features, integrations, and more coming your way

Author: Mary Mattingly

In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, creating standout content efficiently is more crucial than ever. Ceros is rising to this challenge with a whole slew of innovative updates and a bold vision for the future of interactive content creation.

Recently, our Chief Product Officer, Daniel McGlade, unveiled a roadmap so exciting, you might just spill your coffee. From AI-powered tools to seamless integrations, these updates are about to redefine what’s possible in the digital content game.

What are you waiting for? Let’s dive in!

Efficiency: the heart of Ceros’ latest product updates 💗

Today, cranking out high-quality content quickly—without burning a hole in your budget—is a must. Ceros is all about that efficiency life, making it the cornerstone of our latest product developments.

Ready to do more with less? Here are two key features released in 2024 that will help you work smarter, not harder:

Asset library. Launched earlier this year, the asset library allows users to save and reuse interactive components, text blocks, images, and more, cutting down the time needed to build new experiences. This feature helps teams work smarter by leveraging pre-built assets to speed up content creation.

Contextual toolbar. Meet the new toolbar! It pops up when you select a component, serving up the most relevant actions for that element like a personal assistant who knows exactly what you need. With AI-driven options to shorten or lengthen text, translate, or check grammar, you’ll spend less time fumbling through menus and more time doing what you do best.

Why navigate menus when you can have all the good stuff at your fingertips?

A note about AI: After some trial and error (where we learned a lot), Ceros has started pinpointing ways AI can actually be useful in the content creation process. Our approach is designed for flexibility and scalability, ensuring you can tap into cutting-edge capabilities without being locked into a single solution. As AI becomes more reliable and consistent, we believe it’s poised to become a core part of every software product, automating tasks and enhancing your creative process.

Ceros’ latest improvements driving performance and stability

Ceros is all about giving you the tools you need to create and launch high-quality content without breaking a sweat. So, we’ve made recent updates like…

Platform performance enhancements: We've cranked up performance so complex experiences now load in under 2 seconds instead of an agonizing 20 seconds. That's a 10x improvement, folks! This upgrade is already live for many users and will soon be in your hands too.

And because we believe in the magic of details, we've also rolled out over 60 smaller performance tweaks to keep things running smoother than ever. ⭐

Figma import improvements: Transitioning from Figma to Ceros has never been smoother or more accurate thanks to the recent enhancements made to the Figma import feature.

Why just design when you can Cerosify? 🤩

Sure, not every Figma feature can make the leap to Ceros just yet, but the team is working on making the import process smoother and better every day!

Improved Getty integration: In Q4 2024, users will soon access their own Getty libraries right within Ceros. Gone are the days of just subscribing to Getty's stock library—now you’ll be able to authenticate and seamlessly integrate your personal media collection into your Ceros content. This exciting new feature makes adding high-quality visuals to your interactive experiences easier than ever before!

What’s ahead: Ceros roadmap for 2024 and beyond 🚀

While Ceros has made impressive strides in improving performance and user experience, the focus for the rest of the year is on innovation that enables users to create even more powerful content efficiently.

PDF and PowerPoint import: Launching in beta in Q4 2024, these highly-anticipated features will allow users to easily import and enhance existing flat content with interactive components. This will make it easier for everyone, especially those with limited design resources, to create dynamic content. 🙌

Advanced integrations: We're working on deeper integrations with DAM solutions, CRM systems, and CMS platforms to create a platform where you can manage the entire content creation process—from ideation to execution—within one seamless workflow. 🧑‍🍳

Open API and developer documentation: Since we recognize we can’t build every integration out there (wouldn’t that be nice? 🫠), we're investing in infrastructure that lets you create custom integrations through an open API and easy-to-follow developer documentation. This approach enables businesses to tailor their Ceros experience to fit perfectly within their specific content ecosystems.

Personalized and dynamic content at scale: This growing trend in content creation leverages AI to tailor experiences based on factors like location and profession. While it’s still in its early stages, we anticipate it will gain widespread adoption within the next 12 to 18 months. By blending premium content with dynamic personalization, we see a tremendous opportunity to enhance the value of Ceros offerings. As we plan for the future, this will be a key focus for us in 2025.

Shaping Ceros' future: Long-term vision and user empowerment 💪

Looking ahead to 2025 and beyond, Ceros is committed to pushing boundaries and empowering users:

Fully responsive content design: Right now, Ceros users must create separate mobile versions of their experiences, adding to their workload. 😬 In 2025, we plan to introduce responsive design, allowing content to automatically adjust across devices without manual rework. This will free up time for creativity, with one responsive variant adapting to all device sizes, cutting formatting time and improving content quality.

Expanded asset library: Soon, we’ll offer a curated asset library featuring pre-built interactive components from our top-tier creative teams. 🚀 This collection enables all users to enhance their content quickly and efficiently without starting from scratch.

At Ceros, our users are co-creators shaping the platform's future. Through our public roadmap, regular webinars, and feedback sessions, you have direct input into our product development. This transparent, user-driven approach ensures that Ceros continues to meet the real-world needs of our community. 🫶
